Here is the updated list, as of 2016. The number in parentheses is years remaining, and it includes this upcoming season.

The following players must go into the draft pool in the offseason (2019-20) and can't be resigned if contracts expire: Mike Trout, Giancarlo Stanton, Trea Turner, Gary Sanchez, Stephen Strasburg, Bryce Harper, Chris Sale, Francisco Lindor, Andrew Benintendi, and Xander Bogaerts. There is a 3-year maximum cycle of players not being in the draft pool and these are the guys that fit the bill.
