Here are this week's KLS3 Power Rankings. As always, this is a subjective process, and there isn't any formula used to determine the rankings. All complaints should be sent to the Commissioner's office of the league. Team record follows the slash, and previous week's ranking in parenthesis.
1. Smutt Peddlers 4/8-2-1 (1) -- Joe falls for the first time in about two months, and it's certainly no reason to drop him from the top spot.
2. Billy Ball/7-2-2 (2) -- Jack establishes himself as the clear division favorite with back-to-back wins over Adam and Ricky, respectively.
3. Phils win Mets choke/7-3-1 (3) -- Atrocious week for Andy, one of the worst offensive weeks I've ever seen someone have.
4. 7 Inning Games/7-4 (6) -- Ken says "The vacation is over" after ending a dismal three-game losing streak by knocking off the league's top team. So were the players or the manager on vacation?
5. WeAreTheChampsBitch/6-5 (5) -- Juan Pierre gives Adam the "W" for the time being and Vlad Guerrero seals it, keeping Adam's heart in tact.
6. Fireballs 9/6-4-1 (4) -- One has to wonder whether the Ricky of the past would have won such an important matchup this week. It's just not the same Ricky this year.
7. Commish is a Commy/5-4-2 (7) -- Chris is now 5-0 vs. Richie, and he has to like seeing Richie on the schedule in the next-to-last week of the season with a playoff spot likely on the line.
8. Lukewarm Miners/5-6 (8) -- Bob started off the week Monday with 8 hits, 3 HR, 12 RBI and 21 TB. Not too shabby, right? Except he had THREE players. THREE!
9. Kill 'em Slowey/3-7-1 (11) -- Dave wins for the first time since Week 4, and he beats Mike, so we'll give him the jump.
10. Kolb=Future/5-6 (9) -- Mike might want to re-think his name. Suggestion: Draft Lottery=Future.
11. waldr83/1-10 (10) -- Well, at least he had the one-game winning streak.....
12. oof can't beat ne1/2-9 (12) -- I don't know how but Shea somehow managed to screw up Tuesday's night where he had a .526/1.328 offense and a 23 IP/0.00/0.76/2 CG pitching.
