Not a good week to be in the Brad Lidge Division! The teams combined for a 0-5-1 record! Only seven weeks left in the regular season, and our division and wild-card races are still extremely tight. This ain't no NL East we're talkin' about!
All-time records are updated on the blog.
Here are this week's KLS3 Power Rankings. As always, this is a subjective process, and there isn't any formula used to determine the rankings. All complaints should be sent to the Commissioner's office of the league. Team record follows the slash, and previous week's ranking in parenthesis.
1. Phils win Mets choke/10-3-2 (1) -- Eight homers, 30 RBIs and 72 TBs in basically three days. A juggernaut of a weekend offensively.
2. Billy Ball/9-3-3 (2) -- Not quite sure what happened, but one moment Jack was up big on Sunday and the next he ended up tied. All in all, a "bad tie" given the opponent.
3. 7 Inning Games/10-5 (4) -- With an assist, Ken becomes the league's second 10-win team, then says he gets no respect. OK, Rodney!
4. Commish is a Commy/8-5-2 (3) -- Chris cries foul after being hexed by my blog post saying he should win this week. Do I feel bad? Not at all.
5. Cole Miners/8-7 (7) -- Bob arrives home from vacation and then cruises to a win on Sunday (see what I did there?!).
6. Smutt Peddlers 4/9-5-1 (8) -- Absolutely huge victory for Joe, but we shouldn't have been too surprised: he's now 5-1 all-time vs. Chris.
7. WeAreTheChampsBitch/8-7 (5) -- Adam faces Ricky this week in what could legitimately be looked at as his most important week in franchise history.
8. Fireballs 9/7-6-2 (6) -- Last year, Ricky was 7-6 before finishing the season 8-0-1.
9. Kolb=Future/7-8 (9) -- Two-game win streak could prevent Mike from looking too far ahead in the future.
10. Kill 'em Slowey/4-9-2 (10) -- Coming this week: Ben Zobrist, Matt Kemp and Evan Longoria for Jose Lopez and Andy Pettitte.
11. oof can't beat ne1/3-12 (11) -- Shea can still have a major impact in the playoff chase. His next four opponents are Chris, Joe, Andy and Jack.
12. waldr83/1-14 (12) -- Richie is OFFICIALLY eliminated from playoff contention! Now, about that last-place thing...
