Week 16 Power Rankings

All-time records are updated on the blog. Stay tuned this week for Week 17 previews, MLB trade deadline impacts on the league, a rumor rundown and more.

Here are this week's KLS3 Power Rankings. As always, this is a subjective process, and there isn't any formula used to determine the rankings. All complaints should be sent to the Commissioner's office of the league. Team record follows the slash, and previous week's ranking in parenthesis.

1. Billy Ball/10-3-3 (2) -- Jack narrowly avoids an embarrassing loss to Richie. But a win's a win and it's enough for a commanding 2.5 game division lead with six to play.

2. 7 Inning Games/11-5 (3) -- Ken reclaims share of division lead after taking 5 of the last 6, with the one loss being that 9-8 Adrian Gonzalez brutality

3. Phils win Mets choke/10-4-2 (1) -- Andy's big comeback from a 13-5 deficit on Sunday goes for naught as the 8:00 game does him in.

4. Smutt Peddlers 4/10-5-1 (6) -- Joe's new favorite team: the White Sox. Buehrle perfect game + Konerko late HR = victory.

5. Cole Miners/9-7 (5) -- The last of Bob's easy opponents comes to an end, as he has work cut out for him the rest of the way. Opponents have a 54-37-5 record (.589 winning %).

6. Fireballs 9/8-6-2 (8) -- The more I keep counting Ricky out, the more he keeps stepping up. Huge win puts him back on track for the final wild-card spot.

7. Commish is a Commy/8-6-2 (4) -- What's worse? Losing to Shea or the aftermath of losing to Shea?

8. WeAreTheChampsBitch/8-8 (7) -- Adam stepped up for the big matchup vs. Ricky with a real nice week. Unfortunately, Ricky stepped up more.

9. Kolb=Future/7-9 (9) -- Loss to Ken all but seals Mike's role as seller and not buyer.

10. I can beat Soggies!/4-12 (11) -- Shea sets his lineup, manages his team well and gets a win. What do you know, that's how people win?

11. Kill 'em Slowey/4-10-2 (10) -- Rumors abuzz that Dave is discussing trading Evan Longoria for Edison Volquez to give Chris a boost for his playoff run.

12. waldr83/1-15 (12) -- Richie is on pace to crush the record for earliest clinching of last place in league history.
