Week 5 Power Rankings

Here are this week's KLS4 Power Rankings. As always, this is a subjective process, and there isn't any formula used to d etermine the rankings.

All complaints should be sent to t he Commissioner's office of the league. Team record follows the slash, and previous week's ranking in parenthesis.


1. Charlie Murphy!/4-1 (2) - From 12 to 1 in five weeks. The greatest underdog story since Peter LaFleur and Average Joe's.

2. Snooki Punch/4-1 (3) - Nothing short of a miraculous win thanks to Dallas Braden. Get off his mound, A-Rod.

3. Smutt Peddlers 5/3-2 (4) - Joe's fantasy team did better this weekend than his roulette spins.

4. Bronx Bums/4-1 (1) - They've officially become the Bums after one loss. God help them if they lose two in a row.

5. Don't Tase Me Bro/3-2 (5) - Now that Bob's back above .500, we expect the Cole Miners name to soon return.

6. Phightin Sillies/3-2 (9) - Big win for Adam against someone he might eventually be fighting with for a playoff spot.

7. Rebuilding Year Ova!/2-3 (7) - Valiant stiffing attempt for Sunday that falls just short.

8. Fireballs 10/2-3 (6) - After last season, I refuse to write off the Fireballs until he's eliminated.

9. Manager of the Year/2-3 (11) - Lots of potential in smack trash talk vs. Bob this week.

10. Time to Mo Vaughn/2-3 (8) - Threw the gauntlet of starting pitchers on Sunday and it wasn't enough.

11. Billy Ball/1-4 (10) - How will Jack react and rebound after a true stomach-punch loss?

12. Turd n the punchbowl/0-5 (12) - No one wants to be the first to lose to this disgraceful team.
