Week 18 Power Rankings

Here are this week's KLS4 Power Rankings. As always, this is a subjective process, and there isn't any formula used to determine the rankings.

All complaints should be sent to the Commissioner's office of the league. Team record follows the slash, and previous week's ranking in parenthesis.


1. Cole Miners/13-5 (2) - Bob 10-2 vs. non-division opponents; final four games vs. division, though.

2. Phightin Sillies/12-5-1 (1) - Adam loses for first time since Week 9 - also against Chris.

3. Charlie Murphy!/10-7-1 (3) - Terrible loss after big lead on Sunday and benching top three pitchers.

4. Snooki Punch/10-8 (6) - Andy winning with Howard, Utley, Youkilis all on DL at same time.

5. Los Macironis/9-8-1 (5) - Chris said to me he's not making a trade because his offense "can't compete with Adam's, anyway." Hmmm...

6. F*ck this team/8-9-1 (10) - Joe rubs salt in wound with a "Tex" message after his Yankee homers to beat Hal.

7. Rebuilding Year Ova!/8-8-2 (4) - Shea badly missing Morneau, team just isn't the same without him.

8. Crime Dog/7-9-2 (11) - I'm not getting my hopes up quite yet, but Rick faces Chris in the final week with a potential playoff spot on the line. Deja vu?

9. Billy Ball/7-10-1 (8) - Jack likely has to go at least 3-1 in final four weeks to give himself a chance to make playoffs.

10. Turd n the punchbowl/7-11 (7) - Ken outscored an embarrassing 56-20 during four-game losing streak.

11. Manager of the Year/6-11-1 (9) - Back in last-place race, Mike now gets Bob and Adam in back-to-back weeks.

12. Time to Mo Vaughn/5-11-2 (12) - One more loss and Dave is mathematically eliminated.
