2011 Preseason Power Rankings

A new season is a few days away and that means the release of the 2011 Preseason Power Rankings!

I'll have them out each week as usual, but a little different for our annual preseason rankings. These are all done in poetic style, a haiku. Surely, I will be fielding some grumbles and complaints, but that's nothing new!

Without further ado...


1. COLE MINERS
After back-to-backs,
target is on Bob's, well, back
Can he do three straight?

2. CHARLIE MURPHY!
Division title
was nice. Now, let's see if Hal
can win in playoffs.

3. BRONX BOMBERS
A strong squad again
but that likely won't stop Chris
from going Bronx Bums

4. BILLY BALL
Jack has rotated
making and missing playoffs
every other year.

5. ONE LITTLE SQUEAKER
No one cares about
Andy's draft. All they ask for
is Power Rankings.

6. WE GOING MONEY
Nothing powerful
about Rick's team. Six guys with
10 or less homers.

7. PHIGHTIN SILLIES
Team name is "Sillies"
but Adam making playoffs
again? That's silly!

8. TURD N THE PUNCHBOWL
No playoff wins for
Ken means he enters this year
as coach on hot seat

9. SMUTT PEDDLERS 6
A new year now, and
this time around, Joe will not
trade stud midseason

10. BERNIE MADOFF
Mike better hope his
pitchers stay healthy because
hitting makes me sick.

11. DUIS & MRIS
Shea drafts Utley and
Lidge to fit right in. Poor Sheep -
he won't make the leap.

12. DRAFT WASN'T WED.
