Here are this week's KLS5 Power Rankings. As always, this is a subjective process, and there isn't any specific formula used to determine the rankings.
All complaints should be sent to the Commissioner's office of the league. Team record in parenthesis, and previous week's ranking follows the slash.
1. Cole Miners (2-0) / 1 - The best teams find ways to win, and that's what Bob did this week despite .229 BA.
2. Billy Ball (1-0-1) / 3 - Scary-good hitting week for Jack - he swept all 10 categories with ease.
3. Smutt Peddlers 5 (1-0-1) / 6 - Dan Haren is back and so are the Peddlers.
4. Bronx Bombers (1-1) / 2 - Chris goes from loving his team to hating his team in a matter of days. Do we expect anything less, though?
5. Turd n the punchbowl (1-1) / 5 - He lost to Bob, so he won't drop but Ken deserves to after a week he hit .181 with a .561 OPS. Has to be record lows.
6. Phightin Sillies (1-1) / 9 - My sources tell me that after Adam beat Rick this week, Rick got up and yelled across the room, "You Fucking Jew!"
7. One Little Squeaker (1-1) / 10 - Starlin Castro reminds Andy of Derek Jeter in his early years. Andy is hoping his team is nothing like the Cubs this year, though.
8. DUIs & MRIs (1-1) / 7 - Brutal schedule coming up for Shea: Over the next six weeks, Bob, Adam, Joe, Hal, Jack, Chris in that order.
9. Bernie Madoff (1-1) / 8 - Mike goes from 17 homers to 1 homer. Not even sure how that's possible.
10. Draft wasn't Wed (1-1) / 12 - Big win for Dave, now let's see him build on that for once. Hasn't won two straight since early August 2009!
11. Charlie Murphy (0-2) / 4 - Hal's supporters say "Oh no!" after 0-2 start.
12. We Going Money (0-2) / 11 - Only the seventh time in five seasons (90 matches) that Rick has been on a losing streak.

Some good stuff...What was the craziest?
ReplyDeleteJacks offensive sweep?
My 17 to 1 weekly hr breakdown?
Kents Avg/OPS?
I think Ken... those are some numbers that you wouldn't even get if you assembled a roster of 8-hole hitters across the league.
