Here are this week's KLS6 Power Rankings. As always, this is a subjective process, and there isn't any specific formula used to determine the rankings.
All complaints should be sent to the commissioner. Team record in parenthesis, and previous week's ranking follows the slash.
1. Halla Atcha Roy (12-5) / 1 - Hal may be able to rest his guys two weeks early to keep them healthy for the postseason.
2. Ahh Harro (10-7) / 2 - Shea requested me to make it known that he thinks Dave would have beaten just about every other team this week except for Shea. OK.
3. DUIs & MRIs (8-8-1) / 5 - Shea, putting up ridiculous offensive numbers, trades away Brandon Phillips and Jason Heyward. Media will feast if it costs him playoff spot.
4. Cole Miners (9-6-2) / 6 - Bob breaks a three-game losing streak but has critical two-game stretch now vs. Hal and Joe.
5. PumpinFistsSince86 (10-7) / 3 - Sources tell me Joe blamed last week's horrific loss to Chris on him being on vacation.
6. Brother Socko (8-7-2) / 7 - Thirteen of Andy's pathetic 54 hits (24 percent of the week's total) came on Sunday during a frantic comeback win.
7. Simon Birch (8-9) / 4 - How happy is Mike going to be when he can get rid of Jon Lester? You can all but guarantee Lester will never be playing for Mike again in his career.
8. Billy Ball (7-9-1) / 10 - Closest division race in recent memory? Last-place Jack only 2.5 out with five weeks to go.
9. TurnThisShitAround (8-9) / 8 - Calling Evan Longoria: Adam needs you, and he needs you badly.
10. Fireballs 12 (7-9-1) / 9 - One team last week had just 2 homers and a miserable 70 TB last week, but won. Rick had just 2 homers and a strong 109 TB, but lost.
11. Lotto Losers (6-11) / 12 - Chris now right where he wants to be: Ahead of Ken for last place but still far enough in 11th to secure those high lottery odds.
12. Turd n the punchbowl (5-11-1) / 11 - We're getting there! Almost at that point where someone is going to be officially eliminated from playoff contention - a favorite time of mine!

Well done Andy.
ReplyDeleteIt is funny, in the last hour I decided to pitch Lester tonight. Weaver's CG last night helped me make that decision. So far so good.
