Well, here we go. It's come down to one week. One playoff spot up for grabs. Two teams fighting for it. Those same two teams playing each other! Will have a lot of stuff on the blog breaking down the playoff and division races.
Here are this week's KLS3 Power Rankings. As always, this is a subjective process, and there isn't any formula used to determine the rankings. All complaints should be sent to the Commissioner's office of the league. Team record follows the slash, and previous week's ranking in parenthesis.
1. Cole Miners/14-7 (1) -- Bob gets his biggest win of the season, now is the favorite to win the division - and maybe even the league.
2. Billy Ball/12-5-4 (2) -- Jack suffering from letdown syndrome? With nothing to play for, a loss and a tie in consecutive weeks.
3. 7 Inning Games/13-8 (4) -- Questionable managing by Ken - why waste a stiff move on a hold pitcher when you're up 2 going into Sunday and opponent has one hold pitcher?
4. Smutt Peddlers 4/13-7-1 (3) -- Joe is falling faster than the financial service industry.
5. THE bronx bombers/11-8-2 (5) -- Chris reverts back to old name to bring back good vibes during must-win-or-tie week. Will Ricky go to "Fireballs 7" to counter?
6. Phils win ABZ chokes/11-7-3 (7) -- Andy avoids pulling a Mets and comes up with a win when it was most needed.
7. Fireballs 9/10-8-3 (6) -- Ricky seems to have been either on or off all year. Now would be a good time to be on.
8. Kolb=Future/9-11-1 (9) -- Mike with some nice late-season wins, proving he'll be ready for next year.
9. WeAreTheChampsBitch/10-11 (10) -- Adam did his part by beating Shea; unfortunately Richie didn't do his.
10. Kill 'em Slowey/7-12-2 (8) -- Dave lives and dies with his Rays.
11. NO/5-16 (11) -- Shea avoids the last-place bug and guarantees he'll have the 2nd best lottery odds.
12. waldr83/3-18 (12) -- It's been fun, Richie. Better luck next year.
