Weekend storylines to watch

Two words: playoff race.

That's the focus of this weekend, and probably the rest of the season, as we look ahead to storylines to watch.

1) Match of the Week living up to expectations - Unlike last week, where Bob humiliated Joe, Andy and Ken are in a very tight battle that has gone back and forth all week. Andy has a slim lead, but Ken has most of the pitching categories locked up. Andy has a few hitting clinched, but there's plenty up for grabs. Cliff Lee's complete game could be the difference.

2) Bob eyes first place - Bob is on his way to yet another victory and could be in first place by this time on Monday. If Joe falls to Dave (a close matchup right now), Bob will be alone in first place for the first time this season.

3) Chris tries to slay the giant - As I noted on Chris' matchup, he cannot be happy about Shea just rolling over for Ricky. Chris and Jack have gone blow-for-blow this week, with the score changing at a rapid pace.

4) Desperate times for Adam - The frustrating second half continues for Adam, as he is having an embarrassingly bad week. Will we see any desperate moves from Adam this weekend in an attempt to keep his playoff hopes alive?
