Championship manager breakdown: Joe

Joe continues to amaze with his constant success.

For the second straight year, he has made the championship game. He has an undefeated playoff record (4-0), and winning a title this year would be more impressive than last.

"Winning three games for a championship is a harder task than last year," Joe said. "I only had to win two."

Joe has made some great draft picks and pick-ups this year, led by Jose Lopez and Nyjer Morgan, respectively. But, it's been his Yankees that have allowed him to ride this wave.

And if his Yankees, and the rest of his team, stay hot, we could be talking about the greatest fantasy manager of our time.

But, Joe doesn't think so.

"No, a win will not establish me as the greatest of all time," he said. "I am trying to build a dynasty. Not winning the division hurt me a little bit. Hopefully my team can pull through this week and get a second straight championship."

Joe's pitching has been lights-out all year, but recently his hitting has picked up.

"I fear his offense the most," Bob said. "It can really be streaky and if this past week is any indication, then it will continue to be hot. His Yanks also worry me, but they play Boston and the Angels this week, so hopefully they slow down. His pitching is very solid but I think I can hold my own there, too."

Joe has had some ups and downs - from the good pickups to the bad managing, thanks to the financial service industry - but all that matters is he's back in the title game.

A feat that thus far has been unmatched.
