End of season review: No. 2 Jack
(Editor's note: This is the latest in a series of season evaluations based on power ranking trends. At the end, each manager will be given a final determination of overachiever, underachiever or expected achiever.)
Time and time again, Jack, you have proven you can run with young'ns. You had undoubtedly the most consistent season of any of us.
But all good things come to an end, and yours came in the second round of the playoffs, much to the dismay of pretty much everyone in the league not named Joe.
Your complete evaluation after the jump.
Just by looking at the chart, we can't get over how you managed to stay inside the top two or three basically the entire year. Quite impressive, even in spite of all those injuries.
Clearly you were underestimated by being placed in the middle of the pack to begin the season, a mistake that probably won't be made again. However, we must question your playoff credentials. Two seasons, two first-round flameouts, including this year's with high expectations entering the postseason.
What does that all mean? Well, for starters, you may be compared to one of your least favorite athletes of all time - Donovan McNabb! No, you didn't throw up, but you may head into next year with the label of "Can't win the big one."
However, Bob previously had that label, so maybe it is foreshadowing for what is in store next year.
Until then...
Final evaluation: Overachiever
