Week 9 Power Rankings

Here are this week's KLS5 Power Rankings. As always, this is a subjective process, and there isn't any specific formula used to determine the rankings.

All complaints should be sent to the Commissioner's office of the league. Team record in parenthesis, and previous week's ranking follows the slash.

1. Turd n the punchbowl (7-2) / 1 - Crawford, Stanton hot right now Vogelsong might be Ken's MVP

2. Billy Ball (6-2-1) / 2 - These stats speak for themselves, especially the last three: 85 hits, 12 HRs, 143 TB, .335 AVG, .971 OPS

3. Cole Miners (7-2) / 4 - Bob vs. Joe this week will be one of three very important and exciting matchups on tap.

4. DUIs & MRIs (5-4) / 6 - Shea was 5-3-1 last year and 7-1-1 in 2009 after nine weeks when things went absolutely downhill (3-9-1 and 3-10, respectively, rest of the way)

5. Bernie Madoff (5-3-1) / 3 - Mike's extremely tough four-game stretch ends this week with a matchup vs. Joe

6. Smutt Peddlers 5 (5-3-1) / 5 - Joe likes using catch phrase of "yea, buddy," but after back-to-back defeats to Adam, Hal, we say "oh no, buddy"

7. Minnesota Twins (4-5) / 7 - Must-win for Chris this week vs. Andy? After this, he gets Ken, Joe, Jack, Mike in four consecutive weeks

8. Charlene Murphy? (3-6) / 11 - Commish excited after Hal not only upsets Joe, but wins by exact score of the prediction

9. The Underperformers (3-6) / 8 - Incredibly faltering offense causing Andy to look for new ways to win

10. Phightin Sillies (3-6) / 9 - Adam's league-worst 4.46 ERA is 0.30 points higher than the next closest. Brutal

11. Draft wasn't Wed (2-6-1) / 10 - Dave belts 17 homers but only takes 4 offensive categories against Ken

12. We Going Money (1-6-2) / 12 - Valiant effort taking Bob all the way to late Sunday, but simply just not enough to pull out the win
