A disappearing act

Remember when Zack Greinke was the best pitcher in baseball? Yeah, it wasn't so long ago.

Chris certainly remembers better days than what he's getting from Greinke and the rest of his pitching staff this week.

Greinke already imploded this week, but his 7.50 ERA and 1.67 WHIP is actually one of the better outings by Chris' staff during this week.

Bob leads the championship match 14-4 and has a big stranglehold on pitching.

Ryan Dempster, on Thursday night, gave up nine earned runs in less than two innings - a 48.60 ERA! Jake Westbrook didn't do Chris any favors, either. Overall, Chris has a 6.75 ERA and 1.47 WHIP in almost 40 innings. And, oh yeah, he already has five losses.

It's a huge storyline of this matchup. Bob hardly has to worry about losing those three categories, which gives him some freedom when deciding whether or not to play his pitchers.

It also means Chris has to try to win with offense. And over a two-week period against Bob, that's not an easy thing to do.
