I think most league members are very impressed by Bob's back-to-back title-game appearances. He is the clear favorite to win his second straight championship. It has never been done before.
And this week, when interviewing him about whether he was satisfied being here, Bob used the "D" word: Dynasty.
"Nope, not satisfied until I become the first team to repeat and to win multiple titles," Bob said. "I have dynasty on my mind and dynasties aren't just happy to be here."
Very bold, strong, confident words from our defending champ. But that raises the question - what makes a dynasty? Is two titles enough? Or is it three or more?
That is up for debate. What isn't, however, is the fact that Bob has had the most consistent team all year. And he's very confident heading into this matchup with Chris.
"My pitching and hitting have been consistent for me all year," Bob said. "It seems like every time a guy has an off week, there is another guy on my team that picks the rest of the team up."
Other league members aren't surprised to see Bob back in the finals. Chris, when asked if he was surprised, gave a simple "no" without choosing to elaborate.
"I think I will win because my hitting is getting hot at the right time," Bob said, "and my pitching, for the most part, has been a picture of consistency."
It's up for you to decide whether a victory would equal a dynasty in this day and age.
