Week 5 Power Rankings

Here are this week's KLS5 Power Rankings. As always, this is a subjective process, and there isn't any specific formula used to determine the rankings.

All complaints should be sent to the Commissioner's office of the league. Team record in parenthesis, and previous week's ranking follows the slash.

1. Cole Miners (5-0) / 1 - Let's not hail Bob champ yet. He's beaten teams with a combined winning % of .400.

2. Bernie Madoff (3-1-1) / 3 - The league is more fun when Mike is doing well, isn't it? He certainly spices it up in the matchup smack talk.

3. Smutt Peddlers 5 (3-1-1) / 2 - On the other hand, I think I prefer when Joe is bad or mediocre. He's been extremely boring this year.

4. Turd n the punchbowl (3-2) / 5 - Ken has gone W-L-W-L-W, and all five have been absolute blowouts. Interesting.

5. DUIs & MRIs (3-2) / 6 - Shea making a move going for it in 2011 after noticing how bad his division appears to be.

6. Billy Ball (2-2-1) / 4 - Great feelings about 2011 slowly decreasing and could be gone after matchup vs. Bob this week.

7. We Going Money (1-3-1) / 9 - Rick has now tied seven different teams in the league, tops among managers.

8. Minnesota Twins (2-3) / 10 - Would have been better if Verlander threw the no-hitter in his first start for Shea, not last start for Chris.

9. Phightin Sillies (2-3) / 11 - Congratulations are in order to Adam for his recent engagement, if you haven't heard yet.

10. The Underperformers (2-3) / 7 - Just traded his best power hitter to arguably top division rival. Unheard of?

11. Draft wasn't Wed (2-3) / 8 - Dave shows heart by going for the W with stiffs, but to no avail.

12. Charlene Murphy? (0-5) / 12 - This is what we expected from an expansion team last year, not a reigning division winner this year...

  1. League is definetly more fun when I am winning.

    Congrats Adam!
