Week 12 Power Rankings

Here are this week's KLS5 Power Rankings. As always, this is a subjective process, and there isn't any specific formula used to determine the rankings.

All complaints should be sent to the Commissioner's office of the league. Team record in parenthesis, and previous week's ranking follows the slash.

1. Minnesota Twins (7-5) / 6 - A four-game win streak for Chris with two straight victories over the #1 and #2 teams.

2. Bernie Madoff (7-4-1) / 3 - For those of you pissed that Mike won this week, mail your shit-filled hate letters to the umpire crew of this game: http://losangeles.dodgers.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=16328837 and http://losangeles.dodgers.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=16324597

3. Billy Ball (7-4-1) / 4 - Showdown this week vs. top-ranked Chris but Jack can't look ahead to his big rematch vs. Rick looming next week.

4. Cole Miners (8-4) / 7 - One has to wonder whether Bob will trade some of that great pitching to scoop up another bat.

5. Turd n the punchbowl (8-4) / 1 - What once seemed like a huge division lead suddenly is down to 1 game and Ken has to be a bit worried.

6. Smutt Peddlers 5 (7-4-1) / 2 - Joe toots his horns mid-week and then doesn't back it up with a chance to take over sole possession of first in the league.

7. Draft wasn't Wed (5-6-1) / 9 - If Dave beats Andy this week it will be the first time he is .500 or better this late in the season since ... July 7, 2008!

8. DUIs & MRIs (6-6) / 5 - You may be hard-pressed to name a less-productive keeper this year than Justin Morneau. Just killing Shea to be stuck rostering him.

9. Charlene Murphy? (5-7) / 8 - The Adam Dunn Era ends. It was fun while it lasted.

10. MismatchMyAss (5-7) / 10 - I wish I could give Adam some more props for another win. But, alas, it was against Rick so he stays put at 10.

11. All I Do Is Lose (3-9) / 11 - Fifth loss of the season for Andy in which he has scored seven points with a chance to win heading into the night game.

12. Fireballs (1-9-2) / 12 - Worst record in a season was 4-18 (done twice). Can Ricky beat that? It will be close.

No one is pissed I won...besides you.

2 weeks ago I pegged Hammer as a good manager on the cusp of greatness, and you questioned it. So no, I am not suprised.

  2. Not true - I would have to think that Bob, Joe, Jack, Shea, Chris, and Ken were all pissed.

I know. But I tell ya now, Kent better not have been pissed or our friendship is over. You heard me Kent.

Week 1: "I may lead the league in HRs, beware of Madoff". Lolz, I was wrong on the HR prediction.
