Week 5 Power Rankings

Here are this week's KLS6 Power Rankings. As always, this is a subjective process, and there isn't any specific formula used to determine the rankings.

All complaints should be sent to the commissioner. Team record in parenthesis, and previous week's ranking follows the slash.

1. BoneSaWisReaddyyyy (4-1) / 4 - A name change for every win so far this season, or so it seems.

2. Michelle Beadle (4-1) / 5 - Mike vs. Adam coming up this week. An early, scintillating 1 vs. 2 matchup that should be fun.

3. Cole Miners (3-1-1) / 2 - To everyone with an under-.500 record, how does this make you feel? Bob is dead last in the league in AVG, OPS, HR, H, TB

4. Ahh Harro (3-2) / 1 - That's a bad loss for Dave and one he's going to look back on at the end of the season, shaking his head.

5. PumpinFistsSince86 (3-2) / 8 - Joe's first win streak of any sort since Weeks 14-15 of last season.

6. Halla Atcha Roy (3-2) / 3 - I have to imagine Hal was slamming keyboards for every Adam Dunn homer this week.

7. DUIs & MRIs (2-2-1) / 7 - Helllllo, injuries. Morneau, Werth double the size of Shea's DL list.

8. Cano Must Go (2-3) / 6 - I think Cano hit a grand slam a couple hours after the name change. Which makes Chris's defeat all the more enjoyable.

9. Turd n the punchbowl (2-3) / T11 - That's a great win for Ken and one he's going to look back on at the end of the season, nodding his head.

10. Brother Socko (2-3) / T11 - Andy surprises even himself by eking out a win.

11. Fireballs 12 (1-4) / T11 - Another absolute blowout loss for Rick. Yet hardly any moves or trades. Why?

12. The Asshole Squad (0-5) / 12 - So... who are the top players heading into the draft lottery next season?

  1. I'll be the first to say that I've benefited off the week to week matchups, my hitting has been atrocious and it doesn't help that I have Zimm, Youk, and Gardner all on the DL

  2. Damn it Cole, I am supposed to have the first comment.

I look forward to being number 1 next Monday.

As for Rick, he probably would have won most matchups, his hitting was great this week. Mine was just on another level. Hope I can carry that over to this week vs Adam.

  3. For sure Bob.

(My comment was by no means a shot or anything, just pointing out the stat so the bottom-tier teams could lament even further.)
