Week 14 Power Rankings

Here are this week's KLS6 Power Rankings. As always, this is a subjective process, and there isn't any specific formula used to determine the rankings.

All complaints should be sent to the commissioner. Team record in parenthesis, and previous week's ranking follows the slash.

1. Halla Atcha Roy (10-4) / 2 - Hal wins, the three teams chasing him lose. Three-game lead with eight weeks left seems nearly insurmountable.

2. PumpinFistsSince86 (9-5) / 3 - Joe has gone W, W, L since Week 4, which means he should lose to Hal in a possible Finals preview.

3. Ahh Harro (8-6) / 4 - Dave clicking on all cylinders right now, but let's see how clubhouse is following gigantic trade.

4. Cole Miners (8-4-2) / 1 - Gotta wonder if Bob makes a move soon after seeing so many competing teams wheeling and dealing last week.

5. Simon Birch (7-7) / 8 - Left for dead, Mike's arisen and making moves, but a tough three-game stretch awaits: Rick, Joe, and Hal.

6. Brother Socko (7-7) / 5 - Hanley needs stitches after punching a cooling fan. Wonder why? His hitting certainly doesn't need cooling down right now.

7. King Shields (6-8) / 9 - The week Jack doesn't play someone with a career-best week, he wins!

8. Fireballs 12 (6-7-1) / 6 - Rick is poking the Tim Lincecum voodoo doll, right? Still two more seasons of him, too.

9. DUIs & MRIs (6-7-1) / 7 - Shea benched his pitchers by accident on Sunday, and he very well might have tied or won had he not goofed.

10. TurnThisShitAround (6-8) / 10 - Tough one for Adam; 8th-inning strikeout by Derek Jeter was deciding point in the loss.

11. Turd n the punchbowl (5-9) / 11 - Bigtime upset for Ken, who gains a game on Chris in the battle to avoid last place.

12. Lotto Losers (4-10) / 12 - Five-game losing streak and a 16-2 loss? Absolute rock bottom for Chris. Season and career, arguably.

  1. I was never left for dead.

End of week 9 in smack talk I said "Epic run starts in 3 weeks"...

...Guess who won weeks 13 and 14? Watch me run the table.

I am a fan of my 5th seed this week tho, thanks Andy.
