Here are this week's KLS6 Power Rankings. As always, this is a subjective process, and there isn't any specific formula used to determine the rankings.
All complaints should be sent to the commissioner. Team record in parenthesis, and previous week's ranking follows the slash.
1. Halla Atcha Roy (11-4) / 1 - No team has ever won a division by more than 2.5 games. Does anyone NOT think Hal will shatter that mark?
2. Ahh Harro (9-6) / 3 - No Trout, no problem. Just another week at the office for Dave's offense - 186 TB, .306 AVG, .878 OPS
3. Simon Birch (8-7) / 5 - Time to see whether Mike's team is fool's gold: Next two weeks vs. Joe and Hal.
4. PumpinFistsSince86 (9-6) / 2 - Brian LaHair cut; Johan Santana DL'd; Dan Haren just off DL. Yikes. "Ridiculous," right?
5. DUIs & MRIs (7-7-1) / 9 - If I had to give you a darkhorse wild-card team that could win three playoff matches in a row for a title, look no further.
6. Cole Miners (8-5-2) / 4 - More stunning: Bob hits 24 homers in one matchup (21% of his season's total!) or Bob loses OPS with 24 homers!
7. Brother Socko (7-7-1) / 6 - Five weeks ago, Andy was a base hit away from being tied for the division lead. Now, he's not in playoffs if season ended today.
8. Billy Ball (6-8-1) / 7 - I think this week vs. Adam is about as close to a must-win as it gets, given the standings logjam and opponent.
9. TurnThisShitAround (7-8) / 10 - Adam wins for only the second time since May 14, yet is firmly in this sucker.
10. Fireballs 12 (6-8-1) / 8 - Five teams, including Rick, separated by one game for final wild-card spot.
11. Turd n the punchbowl (5-10) / 11 - Get used to rooting against the Washington Nationals if you're playing Ken for the next few years.
12. Lotto Losers (4-11) / 12 - Chris has never lost more than 12 games in a season. Looking like a foregone conclusion this year.
