Week 7 Power Rankings

Here are this week's KLS7 Power Rankings. As always, this is a subjective process, and there isn't any specific formula used to determine the rankings.

All complaints should be sent to the commissioner. Team record in parenthesis, and previous week's ranking follows the slash.

1. Goldschmember (7-0) / 1 - Chris' 7 wins to start a season is a league record; however, most weeks undefeated to begin the year is 9 (Bob, 2008).

2. Suck Peddlers (5-2) / 2 - Joe is in middle or at bottom of just about every single stat category. If it were roto, he'd be closer to last than first. Things tend to even out, though.

3. Ahh Herro-o (4-3) / 3 - Last year, Dave discovered Mike Trout before everyone. This year, it's Jean Segura, who is putting up Trout-like numbers.

4. Los Pollos Hermanos (4-3) / 6 - Andy has led the league in hits three weeks in a row, which had never previously been done before by anyone.

5. Cole Miners (4-3) / 7 - Fun fact: Three of Bob's four wins have come with him scoring exactly 11 points. All three of Bob's losses have come with him giving up exactly 12 points.

T6. Give Sosa a Chance! (4-3) / 4 - Miggy's 3 homers on Sunday night seemed like a win for Shea before Mitch Moreland in his final AB tied up the matchup ...

T6. The Allen Websters (3-4) / 10 - ... but wait! A stat correction gives Hal the win Monday morning! What drama!

8. Nyjer Please (3-4) / 5 - Mike has had the league's easiest schedule (.408% opponents) through the first seven weeks, yet is only 3-4. Ut oh.

9. Backdoor Slider (3-4) / 8 - Ken "holds" on for a win despite an incredible boneheaded gaffe on Sunday that should have bit him - intentionally benching a SP for literally no reason.

10. Billy Ball (2-5) / 9 - Jack goes to bed with a tie, wakes up to a loss. How's that for a case of the Mondays?

11. Fireballs (2-5) / 11 - Rick has had a weekly ERA lower than 4.00 just ONE time this season.

12. TurnThisShitArounndd (1-6) / 12 - Adam's starting offense Sunday: 6 DNPs, 1 PPD, 2 hits; Adam's bench Sunday: 2 players, 5 hits, 2 HR, 5 runs, 6 RBI

  1. 5 is far too generous, I think I have the worst lineup ever assembled

  2. Two weeks my team put up absolutely horrific #s. Got destroyed. I think that may distorting my overall #s. Glad my whole team decides to show up at the same time and not show up at the same time. Good for my record
