FAQs

OK, I'm sure many of you have questions, so I'll try to answer some here. Feel free to ask any I may have missed.

Q:
Why should I take the extra 5 seconds it takes to click a link and come here instead of just paying attention to the League Overview?
A: You answered it in your question - it only takes an extra 5 seconds. Over time, this blog will have a lot to offer.

Q: OK, this is too much for me. What if I don't want to keep tabs on the blog?
A: No one is forcing you to, and I will make it readily known when there is a new blog post. Maybe in the smack talk, maybe a new message - it'll be there for people to see. For this season, I'll still continue to post news, announcements and power rankings on the League Overview, as well as on the blog.

Q: I want to write some blog posts. How can I contribute?
A: If you're interested in becoming a regular contributor, just let me know, and I'll show you how to become a blogger here.

Q: Well, what are some of the things I could blog about?
A: Anything, really. You can blog about future ideas for the league, propose a rule change for next year, analyze adds/drops/trades, etc., etc. The sky's the limit.

Q: How do I participate in the blog?
A: You can post comments, which then will likely be responded to by the other league members. You can also make posts if you want to, just let me know.

Q: Say you write something that I disagree with. What's the best way to respond to a post?
A: Reply via the comment section or write your own response and I'll make it its own separate blog post.

Q: Why did you create this?
A: Click here

Q: I have a suggestion on something to add to the blog. What should I do to let it be known?
A: Go to the League Discussion Forum. You can post a comment there, or you can just tell me in person/over IM/etc.

Q: How often will the blog be updated?
A: To be honest, I'm not really sure. It will be a play it by ear kind of thing, for now. We'll see how it goes and how much interest there is.

Q: Are people other than league members reading this blog?
A: It's possible but probably by mistake and not on purpose. I haven't given out the link and don't plan to. But, anyone searching "fantasy baseball" on Blogger.com could find their way here. In fact, someone from Brazil and France have clicked on the blog.

Q: Is my e-mail address anywhere on here? My last name? My Yahoo! ID?
A: No, no, and no.

Q: I signed up for fantasy baseball, not this. I want out, OK?
A: OK, we have a four-person wait list, so if you don't want to participate after this season, no biggie.

Q: Who the hell is that a picture of on the right side?
A: The legend, simply known to us as "Dobies."

Q: Damn, you're a solid commissioner - do you know that?
A: Thank you. Yes.

Q: Do you know you're going to be told to get a life?
A: Yep, and I don't care - to all the haterz out there.
