Week 17 Power Rankings

Here are this week's KLS5 Power Rankings. As always, this is a subjective process, and there isn't any specific formula used to determine the rankings.

All complaints should be sent to the commissioner. Team record in parenthesis, and previous week's ranking follows the slash.

1. Bernie Madoff (11-5-1) / 3 - Mike on pace to surpass his career high in wins (13) but he's more focused on first career division title.

2. Smutt Peddlers 5 (11-5-1) / 4 - Joe taking public shots at Bob could set up a juicy Week 22 match if it has playoff and/or division implications.

3. Cole Miners (11-6) / 1 - In midst of cocky swipes and drawing other managers' ire, Bob must have been distracted vs. Chris

4. DUIs & MRIs (9-8) / 5 - Shea returns the favor of an earlier thumping by Jack by delivering one of his own.

5. Minnesota Twins (10-7) / 6 - Sources tell me Chris is ferociously working the phones to try and get another trade done before Sunday's deadline

6. Billy Ball (9-6-2) / 2 - Jack hasn't won two straight since Weeks 8-9.

7. MismatchMyAss (9-8) / 7 - Adam beat a team he was supposed to beat. Next four weeks? Chris, Joe, Mike, Jack. Oof.

8. Draft wasn't Wed (7-8-2) / 8 - Dave vs. the three worst teams in this league this year? 1-3-2. Yikes.

9. Turd n the punchbowl (8-8-1) / 9 - I can't recall ever seeing such a slide from a team with championship aspirations at the mid-way point.

10. Charlene Murphy? (6-11) / 10 - Hal updates his trade block Sunday with his best players. What, he thought he actually had a shot before last week's L?

11. Fireballs (2-12-3) / 12 - Ricky was so close to picking up yet another win, but Dave gets some more Sunday Night Magic to salvage a tie.

12. All I Do Is Lose (4-13) / 11 - For the first time in ages, we have a new No. 12 team. And most certainly a deserving one a that.
