Here are this week's KLS5 Power Rankings. As always, this is a subjective process, and there isn't any specific formula used to determine the rankings.
All complaints should be sent to the commissioner. Team record in parenthesis, and previous week's ranking follows the slash.
1. DUIs & MRIs (12-9) / 2 - This league is wide open. Who is the favorite come September? I really have no idea, making the bye that much more crucial.
2. Bernie Madoff (13-7-1) / 3 - It's Mike vs. Jack for the division title. Winner takes all. Who could ask for anything more?
3. Billy Ball (12-7-2) / 4 - Billy to Bernie after Week 10 loss (11-7): "I look forward to our next meeting." It's on!
4. Cole Miners (13-8) / 1 - If Bob wins his third straight title, he'll have to do it differently than the past couple years: as a wildcard.
5. Minnesota Twins (12-9) / 5 - Chris chose not to comment, but chances are he was furious after losing with 21 homers and 167 total bases. Not. A. Misprint.
6. Draft wasn't Wed (9-9-3) / 10 - Unreal! Dave could sneak into the playoffs here, and Vegas has him as a favorite to do so with a match vs. Adam.
7. Charlene Murphy? (10-11) / 8 - If Hal wins this week, it will be the second time this year he's won five out of six. And he won't be in the playoffs. Wow.
8. #OHNOBUDDY (11-9-1) / 7 - Joe, on a four-game losing streak, seemed a lock for the postseason at one point but needs to win or Dave to lose to get into the playoffs.
9. ZeroOffense (10-11) / 6 - Unbelievable stat: Adam has 11 losses, and only once (!) has he lost by fewer than five points.
10. Turd n the punchbowl (9-10-2) / 9 - And he's out. Just a stunning fall from grace. At 8-2, Ken goes 1-8-2 in the second half of the season!
11. All I Do Is Lose (6-15) / 12- Andy avoids last place thanks to a stunning upset of Chris after ballsy move benching hitters from Wednesday to Sunday.
12. Fireballs 11 (3-15-3) / 11 - Fewest wins in league history? Right now, it's four (Richie, 2009; Adam, 2007). Best of luck, Rick.
