Week 11 Power Rankings

Here are this week's KLS7 Power Rankings. As always, this is a subjective process, and there isn't any specific formula used to determine the rankings.

All complaints should be sent to the commissioner. Team record in parenthesis, and previous week's ranking follows the slash.

1. The Allen Websters (7-4) / 1 - Alex Cobb, Mitch Moreland and Brandon Beachy all on the DL. Most useless trade of all time as of now?

2. Ahh Herro-o (8-3) / 1 - Dave starting to find his groove, much like he did right around this time last season when he won 10 of his final 14.

3. Los Pollos Hermanos (7-4) / 4 - Outside of Hal, Andy the hottest team in the league having won five of six in spectacularly easy fashion - an average score of about 13-5.

4. Goldschmember (8-3) / 3 - Chris not only drops out of first place, but his 2-3 division record is quite troublesome compared to Dave and Hal (4-1 each).

5. Suck Peddlers (6-5) / 5 - Hearing rumblings that several of front-office members becoming restless during Joe's recent skid - bad hitting, bad pitching, bad times.

6. Give Sosa a Chance! (6-5) / 8 - Shea part of the extremely bunched middle-of-the-pack where a win can put you atop of the division and a loss out of the playoff picture.

7. Nyjer Please (5-6) / 9 - Hope C.J. Wilson takes Mike out to dinner after the $41 he spent on the pitcher with a 5-5 record and 1.43 WHIP.

8. Cole Miners (5-6) / 6 - Bob under .500 at the halfway point for the first time since 2009, a year he won his first title.

9. Backdoor Slider (5-6) / 7 - Ken's team too inconsistent - if he makes playoffs, hard to see him winning three straight.

10. Billy Ball (4-7) / 10 - Jack wins two in a row for the first time in more than a year.

11. Fireballs (3-8) / 11 - Stat of the Week: Teams coming off a loss are 6-1 when they face Rick the following week. AKA the perfect remedy.

12. TurnThisShitArounndd (2-9) / 12 - Five of Adam's nine losses have come by at least seven points.

1 comment:

  1. CJ Wilson will help bring this team to its second title!

    Money well spent.
