Here are this week's KLS7 Power Rankings. As always, this is a subjective process, and there isn't any specific formula used to determine the rankings.
All complaints should be sent to the commissioner. Team record in parenthesis, and previous week's ranking follows the slash.
1. Ahh Herro-o (9-3) / 2 - Dave the easy choice for new No. 1. Quietly going about his business, crushing teams on five-game win steak.
2. The Allen Websters (7-5) / 1 - Really bad loss for Hal - not only did it come to lowly Rick, but it came during a week in which the two above him in division won.
3. Goldschmember (9-3) / 4 - And on the other hand, arguably the biggest win of the season for Chris, given possible playoff tiebreaker implications with a sweep vs. Andy.
4. Los Pollos Hermanos (7-5) / 3 - Kind of hard to win a week when you have 11 losses and a 5.17 ERA, eh?
5. Give Sosa a Chance! (7-5) / 6 - Every time someone knocks Shea publicly for not setting his lineup, all he has to do is respond with a finger point to the scoreboard. Knock it off, people!
6. Backdoor Slider (6-6) / 9 - Ken gets 15 homers, 45 RBIs and 132 total bases last week. Who needs a productive Josh Hamilton?!
7. Suck Peddlers (6-6) / 5 - Joe should worry more about his matchups and less about smack talk.
8. Nyjer Please (5-7) / 7 - In the last seven weeks, only two of Mike's final scores have been decided by less than seven.
9. Cole Miners (5-7) / 8 - Bob is 1-4 this season when he's hit 10+ homers in a week
10. Fireballs (4-8) / 11 - Half of Rick's wins this season have come against Hal. Read that one again...
11. TurnThisShitArounndd (3-9) / 12 - Much like Hal successfully owned his Allen Webster pickup and name change, I'm advocating Adam's new name as: "The Carlos Carrascos"
12. Billy Ball (4-8) / 10 - Jack hits rock bottom with a blowout loss to Adam; therefore, he hits Power Rankings rock bottom as well.
